Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
Types of Data Collected
Personal Data
When you're using our Service, we might ask you to dish out some personally identifiable information that helps us get in touch or figure out who you are. This personal info could include, but isn't limited to:
- Email address
- Usage data
Usage Data
Usage Data? It's automatically collected when you're rocking the Service.
Usage Data can totally include your device's Internet Protocol address (like an IP address, you know?), browser type and version, the pages you hit up on our Service, the time and date of your visit, how long you chill on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.
Accessing the Service via your mobile device? We might automatically grab some info, like your mobile device type, its unique ID, its IP address, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile internet browser you're using, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data. It's all about making the experience smooth!
Your browser might also send us some info, and guess what? We might collect that too, whether you're hitting up our Service directly or via your mobile device.
Tracking Technologies and Cookies
Cookies and similar tracking tech? We're totally using 'em to keep tabs on activity on our Service and stash some info. These tracking technologies include things like Beacons, Tags, and Scripts – all for collecting and tracking info, and for beefing up and analyzing our Service. The tech we might use includes:
- Cookies or Browser Cookies: A Cookie is a tiny file dropped onto your device. You can tell your browser to kick all Cookies to the curb or to give you a heads-up when one's being sent. But hey, if you don't take Cookies, you might miss out on some parts of our Service. Unless you've tweaked your browser settings to say "no thanks" to Cookies, our Service will probably use 'em.
- Web Beacons: Some parts of our Service and our emails might have these tiny electronic files called Web Beacons (also known as clear GIFs, pixel tags, and single-pixel GIFs). These little guys let the Company (for example) count users who have bopped onto those pages or opened an email, and they're also used for other related website stats (like noting how popular a certain section is or verifying system and server integrity).
Cookies come in two flavors: "Persistent" or "Session" Cookies. When you're offline, Persistent Cookies stick around on your personal computer or mobile device, while Session Cookies vanish into thin air the second you close your web browser.
We're using both Session and Persistent Cookies for these purposes:
-
Necessary / Essential Cookies
- Type: Session Cookies
- Administered by: Us
- Purpose: These Cookies are absolutely crucial for hooking you up with services available through the Website and letting you use some of its cool features. They help authenticate users and prevent fraudulent use of user accounts. Without these Cookies, the services you've asked for can't be delivered, and we only use 'em to bring you those services.
-
Cookies Policy / Notice Acceptance Cookies
- Type: Persistent Cookies
- Administered by: Us
- Purpose: These Cookies are all about checking if users have given the green light to the use of Cookies on the Website.
-
Functionality Cookies
- Type: Persistent Cookies
- Administered by: Us
- Purpose: These Cookies let us remember the choices you make when you're using the Website, like keeping your login deets or language preferences in mind. The whole point of these Cookies is to give you a more personalized experience, so you don't have to re-enter your preferences every single time you use the Website.
Wanna know more about the Cookies we use and your options regarding 'em? Just head over to our Cookies Policy or the Cookies section of our Privacy Policy.

- To contact you: We might ping you via email, phone calls, SMS, or other equivalent electronic comms (like push notifications from a mobile app) to dish out updates or informative messages related to functionalities, products, or contracted services, including security updates, when it's necessary or makes sense.
- To hook you up with news, special offers, and general info about other goods, services, and events we're offering that are similar to what you've already snagged or enquired about, unless you've opted out of getting such info.
- To manage your requests: This is about handling and rocking those requests you send our way.
- For business transfers: We might use your info to suss out or go through with a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or any other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Data held by us about our Service users is among the assets being transferred.
- For other purposes: We might use your info for other stuff, like data analysis, spotting usage trends, figuring out how effective our promo campaigns are, and to evaluate and level up our Service, products, marketing, and your overall experience.
Your personal info? We might share it in these scenarios:
- With Service Providers: We might spill your personal info with Service Providers to keep an eye on and analyze how our Service is being used, and to hit you up.
- For business transfers: We might share or transfer your personal info during any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company, or during negotiations for such.
- With Affiliates: We might share your info with our Affiliates. If we do, we'll totally make sure those Affiliates play by the rules of this Privacy Policy. Affiliates include our parent company and any other subsidiaries, joint venture partners, or other companies that we control or that are under common control with us.
- With business partners: We might team up with our business partners and share your info to offer you certain products, services, or rad promotions.
- With other users: When you're sharing personal info or chilling with other users in public areas, that info might be seen by all users and could even be publicly distributed outside.

Holding Onto Your Personal Data
The Company? We'll only hang onto your Personal Data for as long as it's necessary for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. We'll also keep and use your Personal Data to the extent needed to jam with our legal obligations (like if we gotta keep your data to obey applicable laws), sort out disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
The Company also holds onto Usage Data for internal analysis. Typically, Usage Data doesn't stick around for long, unless it's being used to seriously beef up the security of our Service or boost its functionality, or if we're legally bound to keep that data for a longer stretch.
Shifting Your Personal Data Around
Your info (yep, that includes Personal Data!) gets processed at the Company's operating offices and any other spots where the parties involved in the processing are located. This totally means this info might get shuffled to and stored on computers outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction – places where the data protection laws might be a bit different from what you're used to.
By giving a nod to this Privacy Policy and submitting such info, you're totally signing off on that transfer.
The Company will take all reasonably necessary steps to make sure your data is handled securely and vibes with this Privacy Policy. No way are we transferring your Personal Data to any org or country unless there are enough solid controls in place (like super robust security for your data and other personal info!).
Ditching Your Personal Data
You've got the right to delete your Personal Data that we've collected, or to ask us to lend a hand with its deletion.
Our Service might even let you zap some of your info from right inside the Service itself. Pretty neat, huh?
You can always log into your account (if you've got one, of course!) and hit up the account settings section where you can manage your personal info. From there, you can totally update, tweak, or ditch your info. Plus, you can always hit us up to ask for access, correction, or deletion of any personal info you've tossed our way.
But hey, just a heads-up: we might need to hang onto certain info when we've got a legal obligation or a legit reason to do so.
Spilling the Beans on Your Personal Data
Business Transactions
If the Company gets caught up in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your Personal Data might get shuffled around. We'll totally give you a heads-up before your Personal Data gets transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
Law Enforcement
In some situations, the Company might be on the hook to spill your Personal Data if the law says so, or if a public authority (like a court or government agency) sends over a valid request.
Other Legal Stuff
The Company might spill your Personal Data because it genuinely believes such action is needed to:
- Jam with a legal obligation
- Protect and defend the Company's rights or property
- Prevent or investigate possible screw-ups related to the Service
- Protect the personal safety of Service users or the public
- Dodge legal liability
Keeping Your Personal Data Safe and Sound
The security of your Personal Data is a big deal to us, no doubt! But keep in mind, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is a full 100% secure. While we totally bust our butts to use commercially acceptable ways to guard your Personal Data, we just can't promise its absolute security.
Kiddo Privacy
Our Service isn't aimed at anyone under 13. We're not intentionally scooping up personally identifiable info from anyone younger than 13, nope! If you're a parent or guardian and you know your kiddo has tossed Personal Data our way, please hit us up. If we figure out we've collected Personal Data from anyone under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we'll totally boot that info from our servers.
If we need to lean on consent as the legal basis for processing your info, and your country requires parental consent, we might just ask for your parent's approval before we go collecting and using that info.
Links to Other Cool Websites
Our Service might include links to other websites that aren't run by us. If you click on a third-party link, you'll be whisked away to that third party's site. We seriously recommend you check out the Privacy Policy of every website you cruise onto.
We've got zero control over the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services, and we're not taking any responsibility for 'em.

We might totally update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll give you a heads-up about any changes by just posting the new Privacy Policy right here on this page.
Before those changes kick in, we'll give you a shout-out via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, and we'll update that "Last updated" date right at the top of this Privacy Policy.
